Lotus and the Golden Pearl:
A Young Girl’s Peace Odyssey
Chapter book by Libby Pink for children aged 7-10 years

Our times call for stories to instruct and inspire the young.  This story, with its dreams and animals and its message of peace, is sure to warm the heart and challenge the perceptions of children and adults yearning for peace.
~ Matthew Fox, author of 28 books including Original Blessing and children’s book In the Beginning there was Joy.

The story about a young girl’s quest to find peace aligns with our anti-bullying theme at the After School Collaborative and also supports the San Francisco Unified School District’s balanced scorecard goals.”

Letter from Lotus

Welcome to my website!

I’m so happy you’re here. Have you read the story about me and the golden pearl? Awesome, isn’t it? My mom says it’s a story of hope and inspiration and that you might have a similar experience to share on the kids’ stories and poems page.

There’s loads more to check out on the other pages too, especially the kids’ activities page where you can download a free poster and read my peace poem. As my friend Zach says, “Surf’s up, dude!”

Peace,
Lotus
